Company Details / Cradle&Thread

Who they are:  Cradle&Thread began as a family endeavor.  It is the result of a changing directions in the lives of the founders and a following of a passion. They believe that for-profit companies can have a positive impact on the world, and they love being a part of the growing number of for-profits who are passionate about doing good. Building Cradle&Thread has been an incredible journey for their family, and as it continues to grow, they hope that the passion conintues to come through in their product.

Giving is their reason for being (sometimes they get fancy and call it ourraison d'être). It is what drove the founders to create Cradle&Thread. They think of it as the thread that sews together the fabric of the company, which is why they call their progam Giving Sewn In™.  This (in addition to the insanely great clothes) makes Cradle&Thread pretty special. We hope you agree.

Giving: Cradle & Thread donates a set of clothing to a child in need for every $100 in purchased goods - they call them ThreadBoxes.   This is cumulative and spread out over multiple customers so if you purchase $50 worth then you fund roughly have one ThreadBoxes.  Think of it as crowdsourcing for giving - the sum of the parts add up to make a greater gift.  Now that is cool.
